Leslie Boyd
Vice President, Scientific Licensing, supporting the Infectious Diseases and Oncology MDCs (Medicines Development Centres) and CEDDs (Centers of Excellence in Drug Discovery)

He joined the heritage company Burroughs Wellcome in 1989 as a Research Scientist in Experimental Therapy.  Over the ensuring years, Leslie has held a number of roles of increasing responsibility within Medicinal Chemistry and within the Virology and Gastrointestinal & Infectious Diseases areas, as well as GSK's CEEDD (Center for Excellence in External Drug Discovery).  Leslie and his wife, Cynthia, live in Raleigh and have two sons, Taylor and Matthew.
